This book is intended for hysician, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, clinical social workers, dietitians, and other clinicians and trainee who provide clinical preventive services as part of primary care. Clinical preventive services include counseling about personal health behaviours, screening tests for the early detection of risk factors and disease, immunizations, and chemoprophylatic regimens that are offered to patients before they develop clinical evidence of disease.
