In the pantheon of american values, healts only serious rival for supremacy is education. When both values are coupled, as in the matter of health education, we are surely in the presence of a good which is deemed highly desirable in all quarters of American society. We are apparently committed to the idea that an optimally health nation requires not only well-trained medical personnel and modern medical facilities but also a citizenry which has positive attitudes toward medical care knows enough about the symtomps of disease to know when to call ipon that care.rn<br>rn<br>rnAttitudes toward and knowledge about medical care have come more and more to the publics attention as the more dramatic kinds of public health measures have nearly eliminated morbidity.
